In Jhalak's words
Two recliners with a fixed seat between them, which is the arrangement that actually works in a family: two people get the footrest, everyone else still has somewhere to sit. Both ends are motorised as standard, and both run on their own steel chassis bolted through to the sal frame.
We build this one in genuine leather because a motorised recliner is a fifteen-year object and PU will not last that long at the headrest. If you want a lower price, take the manual version of RP Aaram Solo in a pair instead — we will happily tell you that is the better value buy.
There is a centre console option with two cup holders and a shallow storage well, which sounds like a small thing until the remote goes missing for the fourth time.
It needs a socket behind it and about 35 cm of wall clearance for both ends. Wall-hugger chassis are available if your room cannot spare it.
“Bring the family. Everybody should sit in their own seat before you buy a sofa this size.”— Jhalak Bahadur Khatri, proprietor
The build
Foam
40-density with moulded lumbar on both ends
Frame
Seasoned sal with twin steel recline chassis
Joinery
Bolted steel chassis on a timber frame
Stitch
Panelled leather top stitch
Ask us for an offcut of the actual foam going into your sofa and we will hand it to you. Come to the workshop and push the bare frame with your own hands before it is covered — most people who do that stop worrying.
Delivery and warranty, in plain language
Free delivery inside Ring Road, quoted honestly at cost anywhere else in Nepal. Fifty per cent advance when you sign the written specification, balance on delivery — and the specification lists the model, exact size, fabric name and batch, foam densities, leg finish and date, so there is nothing left to remember or argue about.
Five years on the frame and joinery. Five years on foam collapse. One year on stitching, zips and mechanisms. If something goes wrong, send a photograph and your ledger serial number to 9849239091 on WhatsApp — that is the whole claim process. Your fabric is reserved from the same roll for six months, so a matching extra piece actually matches.

Questions people ask about the RP Aaram Trio
Yes, one standard socket. The transformer sits under the frame. If you want it away from a wall socket we can fit a battery pack, but honestly the cable is simpler.
The recliners hold their position. We fit a manual release on both ends so nobody is ever stuck reclined.
Because a motorised recliner is a fifteen-year piece and PU wears through at the headrest in five to seven. We will build PU if you insist, after saying that.
About 35 cm as standard, or 12 cm with the wall-hugger chassis.
Two years on the motors and chassis, five years on the frame. Motors are a standard unit and we hold spares here.
Full 40-density seat, same as the ends. It does not recline, but it is not a hard filler seat either.
