Is the mirror version more expensive?

No. Same price, same lead time, same warranty. It is the same sofa built the other way round.

Can I convert it later if I move house?

Not the fixed L. If you expect to move every few years, look at RP Module — the modular blocks can be rearranged into a left or right L in any room.

Does the storage option work on the left chaise too?

Yes, identical. Hinged lid, lined box, decided before we build.

What is the smallest room this works in?

About 11 feet on the short side, with the chaise running along the shorter wall. Below that we usually recommend a five-seater instead.

How is it delivered up a narrow staircase?

The chaise and the main run come as two pieces and bolt together in your room. Most Kathmandu staircases are fine; send us a photo if yours has a tight turn.

Can I add a matching ottoman?

Yes — RP Pooja in the same fabric, built from the same roll if ordered together.

Half the rooms we visit need the chaise on the left, and half the sofa shops in Nepal only stock the right. That is why a lot of people end up with a sofa that blocks their balcony door. This is simply the mirror build — same frame, same foam, same fabric options, same price. The chaise sits on your left as you face the sofa.

Everything we say about the right-hand version applies here: plywood decking under the chaise so the corner never sags, seasoned sal frame, 32-density seat foam over a 40-density support layer, and the option of a lined storage box under the chaise lid if you ask before we build it.

If you are not sure which hand you need, do not guess. Stand where the television will be, take one photo of the room, and send it to us on WhatsApp. We will tell you which one fits and, if neither does, we will say that as well.

Ask us for an offcut of the actual foam going into your sofa and we will hand it to you. Come to the workshop and push the bare frame with your own hands before it is covered — most people who do that stop worrying.

Delivery and warranty, in plain language

Free delivery inside Ring Road, quoted honestly at cost anywhere else in Nepal. Fifty per cent advance when you sign the written specification, balance on delivery — and the specification lists the model, exact size, fabric name and batch, foam densities, leg finish and date, so there is nothing left to remember or argue about.

Five years on the frame and joinery. Five years on foam collapse. One year on stitching, zips and mechanisms. If something goes wrong, send a photograph and your ledger serial number to 9849239091 on WhatsApp — that is the whole claim process. Your fabric is reserved from the same roll for six months, so a matching extra piece actually matches.
